Junior Tennis

We have an active Junior membership with children between the ages of 4 to 18 playing regularly.  There are coaching sessions for all levels and regular competitions.

The Club runs a Mini Tennis program;  ages 4-8 play Mini Tennis Red which is played on smaller courts with shorter rackets and softer balls, ages 8-9 play Mini Tennis Orange (slightly larger court, slightly bigger rackets and balls are a little faster and smaller), ages 9-10 play Mini Tennis Green (full size court, balls are faster still), ages 11-18 play Yellow ball or standard tennis (full size court and full compression balls). Our active Junior Program is only achievable through sponsorship and donations. In 2021 we are seeking a new sponsor for this vital area of our work. This enables the Club to run a 10-week Outreach Programme, free of charge to Reception and Year 1 pupils at the western Primary Schools (St Peters, La Moye and Mont Nicolle).  The sponsorship also enables us to run 10 monthly matchplay tournaments between March and December.

If you are a business looking for an excellent sponsorship opportunity, a donor, or wish to discuss any aspect of Junior tennis please contact Club Coach, Joel Camp on 07797 832967.
