Coaching development officer
Hello, I’m Jolien!
Originally from the land of chocolate and waffles (Belgium), my tennis adventure began at the age of 11. Fast forward to 17, and I found myself playing in the highest competition league in Belgium. After graduating from secondary school I played college tennis in the United States where I was able to combine my education and my favourite thing to do, playing tennis.
I started my coaching journey at the age of 16 and have over the years accumulated qualifications and experiences to enrich my coaching career. Three years ago, I traded Belgian chocolates for the scenic beauty of Jersey, and I quickly became part of the JTAP (Jersey Tennis and Padel Association) and hold an LTA Accredited Coaching Qualification.
I’m thrilled to have joined Les Mielles Tennis Club as the Development Officer and Tennis Coach. I offer group coaching and individual sessions for children and adults of all abilities.
